Week 1 Fit Tip: You might be experiencing stiffness, sore muscles and or overall pain. Depending at the level of exertion you are putting out and the length of time it has been since you last exercised you may be experiencing varying degrees of all three. Relax, it is normal. If you are doing anything for the first time, or the first time in a long time your body tells you, "Hey...what in the world is this you are doing to me. I am going to put a stop to this nonsense right now.!" The result....Ouch!
A warm bath with Epsom Salts, stretching and some rest will help. What will not help is lots of rest and giving up now because of the experiences you are having. Tone it down a little, concentrate on form and above all, thank yourself for making this commttment to a healthier you!
